The Department of Geography includes 26 full-time faculty, 12 staff members and a healthy graduate program that, on average, includes 20 Ph.D and 20 masters students. The Department has outstanding facilities for research, including five computing laboratories, five technical laboratories, a cartographic section, and one of the largest university map libraries in Canada.
